Falling temperature

My oven will usually heat to the desired temperature, although it sometimes takes 30 minutes. Then the temperature drifts down, frequently 100 degrees and the only way I can make it reheat is to turn on the broiler, which works fine. Can this be fixed with a control board, or do I need a new oven?...
